Palermo decorative woollen bed cover
Palermo is a three-coloured woollen bed cover in warm shades of beige.
We used two sides of the same woollen fabric in lighter and darker shades of beige. Both colours are separated by a charcoal grey strip of plain woollen fabric. We also designed cushions with the same name that allow you to arrange your room in the same style. Palermo bed covers will also go well with Moss and Coma charcoal grey cushions, as the contrasting combination make the black accents in the bed cover stand out.
Wool in modern interiors
Wool always brings to mind positive associations, which is why we gladly welcome this material in our homes. It warms up the look of the interior and its structure creates a more cozy atmosphere. It adds elegance and style to all rooms.
Woollen decor at home mostly comes in the shape of bed covers, blankets and rugs, as well as cushion cases.
The recent trends in interior design clearly indicate a comeback to natural materials. Wood, brick, concrete, glass and steel all look very impressive used indoors, but they give interiors a rather austere look. Therefore, interior decorators use decor and accessories that are natural and, at the same time, pleasant to the eye and to the touch. Bedding, cushions, blankets, bed covers – everything that makes the interior not only fashionable but also cozy.
The Palermo bed cover in neutral colours perfectly complements interiors in all styles.

Material and usage
Palermo is a bed cover made of wool in earth tones. It consists of three asymmetrical horizontal stripes, two of them in shades of grey beige, and one in charcoal grey. The selection of colours makes this bed cover an intriguing addition to your bedroom decor. Combined with cushions in the same style, it suits any design. Arranged sideways, it creates a unique geometric pattern.
If you have a high, large double bed, the largest Palermo woollen bed cover will shroud it completely. For smaller, double beds we also have bed covers in sizes 220x250 and 200x250. For a single bed, a 150x250 cover will be suitable, but the pattern will be inverted by 90 degrees. The smallest size of the product can also be used as a bed scarf for a wide colonial bed.
How to wash woolen fabrics?
Fabrics made of natural wool require special care.
They should not be washed in water, but dry-cleaned. They should not be ironed and any creases should be left as they are until they flatten naturally. Steam ironing is allowed, but only from a larger distance.
In order for woolen products to keep their shape, they need to be dried laid out flat. Tumble drying, using bleaches or stain removers is not allowed.
Incorrect washing can cause wool to change its original shape and felt, resulting in the product losing its attractive appearance.
All lovers of our woollen products should know that at the beginning wool can leave tiny fibres of fleece on other textiles, such as smooth bedding, giving them a slightly hairy look. This is why woollen bed covers should be placed directly on the bed and not on the bedding. After some time, the phenomenon stops and it should rather be considered one of the charms of natural woollen products. If this property of wool is not convenient for you, we recommend that you check our other products made of blends of cotton and other fibres.
